City of Refuge is a fast growing Memphis-based church that started as a Bible study class on the University of Memphis’s campus in 2001. City of Refuge (COR) truly meets a generation where they are, as a non-traditional, non-religious radical movement. City of Refuge seeks to evangelize, educate, and encourage the body of Christ.
Del Lawrence, or Mr. Del, is both the Pastor and founder of City of Refuge who reaches the world via podcast and crusades across the country to make Christ known.

OUR VISION.
To know Christ and make him known: Locally. Regionally. Nationally. Globally.
OUR MISSION.
Teaching believers to reign in every area of their lives: Mind. Body. Soul.
- To Know Christ personally.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) - To Grow in Christ internally.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
(2 Peter 3:18 KJV) - To Sow into His Church faithfully.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
(Malachi 3:10 KJV) - To Show Christ externally.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
(John 13:35 KJV) - To Go share Christ globally.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(Mark 16:15 KJV)
